The climate of Ibiza is Mediterranean and has milder winters but slightly cooler
summers. The winters are generally mild with temperatures around 15 °C (60 °F) during
the day and 8 °C (46 °F) at night. The hottest time of the year is July and August
with temperatures reaching 30 °C (90 °F) most afternoons. There is little or no
rain from May to August though there may be the occasional summer storm which won't
last more than a couple of hours.
In Ibiza, July receives the least rainfall. It’s almost dry for the entire month
of July. The maximum rain falls from October to December. During the summer, it
is very rare to see stormy weather. However, the mountainous interior sees more
rain and clouds than the coast throughout the year. The months of November and December
are traditionally cold and most of the businesses remain closed. So, if you want
to spend your holidays I a quieter , more serene way, this is the period for you
to visit Ibiza.
